Servant LEADERSHIP
Our ministry, beliefs, and mission help describe who we are as a church and why we pride ourselves on being servant leaders. They communicate who God has called us to be and direct where we are heading. We encourage everyone to trust Christ even in uncertain times because He is still the answer. We are positive proof that signs, wonders, and miracles still exist.
God's presence is the essential and defining component of our ministry. Without it, we are nothing; within it, we find everything. His presence is what guides, heals, comforts, and breathes new life into us. We have answered the call to be a life-changing ministry with spirit-led leadership intentionally focused on developing the lives of those we serve, making both a spiritual and natural impact. We lead people to take their next step with God because He has a place for each of us where our unique abilities and passions can touch the lives of others. We disciple together. We want those who are far from God to know they are welcome and encourage those who are in relationship with God to continue to seek Him diligently.
Positive Proof Family Church and Positive Proof Ministries is a place you can call home. It is a sanctuary of love where you will find hope, healing, and purpose. Meet OUR LEADERS
Bishop Frank Garris | Senior Pastor & Founder
Bishop Frankie A. Garris has been the Pastor and Overseer of Positive Proof Ministries and Positive Proof Family Church for over 35 years. He has traveled across the world, praying for the sick, delivering the hopeless, and preaching to the masses about the love of Jesus Christ. His wife, First Lady Ruth Garris, whom he has been married to for over 50 years, is the Co-Pastor of this international work and is the love of his life. Together, they have two amazing children and two grandchildren.
Pastor Garris is an ordained Bishop who operates heavily in the five-fold ministry.
He moved to New Jersey from North Carolina to attend the Deliverance Evangelistic Center in Newark, NJ, where he became a pastor under the leadership of Apostle Arturo Skinner. Under his leadership, Bishop & Lady Garris pastored several churches throughout New Jersey before establishing Positive Proof Ministries worldwide.
His popular live radio broadcast, This is Positive Proof, has been heard globally for over twenty-five years and continues to be just as impactful today. Bishop Garris is a catalyst to help individuals flourish and grow in their purpose and calling. Whether preaching to thousands at a crusade or doing national broadcasts and telecasts on major networks, you can always depend on Bishop Garris to preach a message that will heal, strengthen, and cultivate the Body of Christ.
Lady Ruth Garris | Co-Pastor
First Lady Ruth Garris is the Co-Pastor of Positive Proof Ministries. She has been in ministry beside the love of her life for over 50 years. Together they have two beautiful children, a son and a daughter and two HBCU grandchildren.
Lovingly known as Lady G, Co-Pastor Ruth leads with grace, dignity and self-confidence. She demonstrates a genuine love for God's people that leads to transformation. She has traveled around the world with her husband ministering to hundreds of thousands of people. As a licensed minister, she uses her powerful gift of prayer and intercession to speak new life. Pastor Ruth is an advocate for healthy families and progressing the community. She teaches God's people to be steadfast, unmoveable, and always abounding in the work of the Lord.
Lady G draws heavily from a legacy of entrepreneurship in computer science, finance and fashion. She attributes her close personal relationship with God and family as the key to purposeful living and leading with the spirit of excellence.
Pastor Robyn | Assistant Pastor
Robyn serves as Assistant Pastor at Positive Proof Ministries. She is the daughter of Bishop & Lady Garris. She is also a preacher, teacher, and psalmist for the ministry.
Pastor Robyn plays a critical role in nurturing and supporting church goals and strategy. She serves as an Executive Director for the church's community-based programs with her brother, Frank. Together they assist community members and parishioners with job readiness classes, continuing education options, and life development courses. She also works closely with clergy and administration.
Robyn has a diverse background in the career development and human resources field. She graduated summa cum laude with an MA and is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority. Robyn is currently a senior HR executive and a per diem College Professor. She travels worldwide to speak at women's conferences, workshops and community based events providing inspiration and Christ-centered solutions for living your best life.
Pastor Duke | Outreach Pastor
Frank "Duke" Garris serves as an Assistant Pastor at Positive Proof Ministries. He is the son and eldest child of Bishop & Lady Garris.
Pastor Duke is a mental health and drug rehabilitation executive with over 20 years of interactive experience in the Human Services field. His hands-on approach and compassion for others have earned him respect within the community and beyond. He attended college in New Jersey and is a lead trainer and subject matter expert for colleagues around the state.
Pastor Duke oversees all of the ministry's outreach programs. He is a phenomenal teacher and uses his gift to connect with people as an introduction to God's love and care for them. Like his baby sister, he also plays a critical role in nurturing and supporting church goals and strategy. He works closely with Bishop Garris and also travels with him.
As an extension of ministry, Duke travels across the United States to train faith-based organizations to help leaders better understand mental illness and recovery so they can better support the communities they serve and build impactful outreach programs. He continues to counsel, train, and support recovering addicts through human services platforms. Pastor Duke is also an incredible singer and songwriter.
