How It All Started
Positive Proof Ministries Started with a vision given to Bishop Garris in 1987. God told Bishop he had to evangelize to the world. It was time to go into the heart and homes of people who needed to build a relationship with Jesus. He shared the vision with his wife, Ruth, and they wrote it down, trusting God to do the rest.
That week he built a radio booth in the basement of his home, and with the help of his son, Frank, they started broadcasting live to the world. The Positive Proof live call-in radio program began in 1987 on 970 WWDJ, which was the top national Christian broadcasting radio station at the time. The broadcast took the airways by storm, with people calling the station around the clock, even when Bishop Garris was off the air. Positive Proof was clearly the station's #1 show.
The Positive Proof broadcast expanded to other radio stations throughout the United States and other countries. Bishop Garris also began appearing on major TV and religious broadcasting networks such as TBN, BET, and The Word Network. His vision was coming to pass. God opened doors for him to minister to souls worldwide.
The Positive Proof team began to travel the world with Bishop Garris and First Lady Garris to minister to hundreds of thousands of people and lead them to Christ. The Crusades held around the country and abroad had thousands on the floor waiting hours before the service began. They were eager to hear a word from God and experience His mighty power. Souls were saved, the sick were healed, and the lost were delivered. Family and community left the powerful move of God in their city, knowing that God could do anything but fail.
Today the movement continues. Countless souls are giving their hearts to the Lord. God's purpose for their lives has been restored, and their faith in Him is unmoveable. They are spreading the word that they, too, are positive proof that the love and power of Jesus will transform your life in unimaginable ways.
Testimony of Business Expansion
Bishop Garris prayed for the expansion of my business. He told me exactly what to do according to God's direction. He also told me how it was going to happen. I had faith, but my natural eye couldn't see how it. Not long after his prophesy, I expanded from a $100,000 business and one franchise to a Million dollar business with four franchises.
Testimony of Healing
The doctors diagnosed me with a female disorder that would prevent me from having kids. My husband and I were told we would never have children. Pastor Garris prophesied and prayed for us. He told us he saw us with a boy and a girl. Not long after his prophesy, I gave birth to two healthy children without medical intervention.
Testimony of Restoration
In the darkest moments of my life, when all hope seemed lost and despair consumed me, Bishop prayed and prophesied a new business in my life. His prophecy reached down pulled me out of the depths of depression. Today, I stand as living proof of God's faithfulness and the transformative power of His love as a community business owner and witness of God's promises.
